Physiotherapy Manual Therapy, Structural Integration, Aerial Yoga, Medical Training | Rakoniewice, Poznań
mgr Aleksandra Tasarek-Ratajczak
Physiotherapist, Structural Integration therapist, certified massage therapist, Fitness instructor and Aerial Yoga (therapeutic approach)
In my work in the office, I combine the approach of holistic therapies, such as SI, with knowledge related to physiotherapy, trying to “tune” (integrate) many aspects of health, often related not only to the physical factor itself.
Working on the fascia, I help to make it more flexible and restore a more balanced body posture, also indirectly influencing the better functioning of the organs contained in it.
Through my therapy and manual work, I teach how to increase body awareness and the ability to more easily maintain an upright position, which in turn also contributes to a generally better everyday well-being.

"Fascia is the organ of posture..." (Dr Ida Rolf)
The fascial web connects all areas of the body. so adhesions in one area
can affect structures further or deeper. Any immobilized area can pull the
threads of the holistic construct’ (Mary Bond) contributing to organ
dysfunction or overall posture.
The posture of our body may result from our habits, for example, of sitting.
walking, standing up in a certain way, which may have been previously
determined by injuries, illnesses, mental state and the environment in which
we grew up. All of this, consciously or subconsciously, affects the way we
move and feel at the moment. Through manual therapy (especially
Structural Integration) and appropriate physical activity (e.g. Pilates / Aerial
Yoga) we can influence the elasticity of the tissue and its arrangement in a
better structure (i.e. Optimal posture – Alignment). while helping to
stimulate awareness of using and moving our own body on a daily basis.
"The lines in the body are not mystical structures, they are areas of balancing forces..." (Dr Ida Rolf)
About me
I studied in Poland – AWF in Poznań. After graduation she took numerous courses related to work on connective tissue called “fascia” (Fascial Manipulation – basic course, Fascial and Membrane techniques, Muscle Repositioning, Myofascial Chains using the GDS method, deep tissue massage, work on fascia with the use of hooks and others related to diagnostics and manual therapy).
After graduation, I completed several years of college in Australia (Sydney) where I obtained diplomas in therapeutic massage and fitness as well as training combined with psychosomatic work (BMC, Alexander Technique), and recently – qualifications related to conducting Aerial Yoga Therapy classes.
Additionally, my passion (apart from working in the office) is multi-dimensional physical activity (from Pilates, Tai-chi and Caopeira through horse riding to relaxing in an aerial hammock). I share all my knowledge and skills during classes conducted individually and in groups.

*Fascia is the connective tissue surrounding our entire body, holding it together with all its bones and “soft” elements (muscles, organs, etc.) that are part of this entire “scaffolding”. Called “second skin” in the medical world, it is exposed not only to physical stress (injuries, traumas), but also emotional and nutritional stress. Under the influence of unfavorable conditions, it can lose its elasticity and mobility, creating adhesions (giving more frequent causes of pain symptoms than those resulting from muscles or bones alone) and hindering the flow of fluids and organs placed in it. Healthy fascia is the one that is elastic, well “hydrated” and facilitates movements in every plane (during exercises and daily activities) and allows easy maintenance of an upright body posture (so-called correct body posture).

f you struggle with chronic pain, therapy with Ola is for you!
Realigning your body and releasing long-standing tensions will cause you
to begin to discover new spaces in your body, and movement that was
previously difficult will come easily.
For me, I felt the greatest effects 3 weeks after the end of 10 sessions.
And this feeling of the body is doing the job again ❤
I especially recommend it to people who work with the body and do not
expect immediate/short-term effects but unblocking for years.

Before therapy with Ola, I struggled for many years with back pain caused by a severe injury in an accident.
I often suffered from a slipped disc and pain with every movement. I often had to take painkillers just to
get through the day.
I tried many therapies, but each time the relief was temporary and I did not feel much improvement. After
10 sessions with Ola, the improvement was huge. Gradually the pain disappeared, my posture improved
and my body gained elasticity, lightness and strength. A few weeks after completing the last session, I
completely forgot about years of living in pain.
I currently work at a gym as a personal trainer, I lift weights, jump and run regularly. For two years now.
nothing hurts, and any tension after exercise quickly disappears, because my body now regenerates
quickly. My life has taken on a completely different momentum, both professionally and privately.
Structural integration has not only improved my body, but also set my whole life in order.
Thank you!

My body and well-being benefited a lot:) Already during the session and in between I had a feeling of
softness, lightness, release, and lengthening in my body. In movement I could feel more natural and fluid
with myself. I also have the impression that along with releasing tension in some areas of the body I also
felt more peace in life.
In addition, there were also spontaneous boosts of good energy and willingness to act. I believe in the
sense of this method. I have the feeling that Ola is a very good IS specialist. I trust her intuition and
experience. I think she knows what she is doing.
